Eighteen year old schoolgirl Upekha Nirmani from Negombo created history last week when she clinched the coveted Derana Dream Star Season 2 title at the Grand Finale of the Derana Dream Star competition held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.

Upeka Nirmani Derana Dream Star Season 2, just 18 years old young talented girl from Negambo and the daughter of popular singer Chandu de Silva well known as “Jolly Seeya”.

Upekha Nirmani created history as she becomes the first female contestant to win a reality show title organized by a TV station.
